Dr. Brock Nicolucci is the President of the Ontario Dental Association for 2023-2024.

Dr. Nicolucci received his Bachelor of Science in Environmental Sciences in 2000 and his Doctor of Dental Surgery in 2005 from the University of Western Ontario. He joined the family dental practice directly from school in 2005. Dr. Nicolucci maintains a general practice with his wife, Dr. Christine Nicolucci, in London, Ont., and practices all aspects of general dentistry with a focus on implantology and periodontics.

Staying active in organized dentistry has always been very important to Dr. Nicolucci. He became involved with the University of Western Ontario Dental Alumni Society as a board member right after graduation and eventually served as its president from 2010 to 2014. Dr. Nicolucci has also been active in the London & District Dental Society, serving on its Constitution Committee and chairing the Mediations Committee.

Dr. Nicolucci became involved with the ODA as a general councillor representing the London & District Dental Society from 2015 to 2017 and as a member of the Economics Advisory Committee from 2014 to 2018. He was elected to the ODA Board of Directors in 2018, where he has chaired both the Audit, Finance and Risk Committee and the Articles and By-Laws Sub-Committee. He currently sits on the Governance and Nominating Committee and sits on the CDA General Assembly Representatives Committee.

Dr. Nicolucci holds numerous fellowships at the Misch Implant Institute, International College of Oral Implantology, International College of Dentists, American College of Dentist, and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.

Daniel Faulkner HBSc, MBA

Registrar & CEO, Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario

Daniel is a recognized regulatory leader with over 25 years of experience in health care and professional regulation. He graduated with an Honours Bachelor of Science in Pharmacology and Toxicology from Western University, and earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Health Services Management from McMaster University.

Daniel spent a large portion of his career with one of Canada’s largest regulatory authorities, the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO). During his tenure at the CPSO, he held several senior leadership roles including Director of Quality Management, Deputy Registrar and Interim CEO & Registrar.

In addition to formal regulatory work, Daniel founded Lakeview Regulatory Consultants, advising regulators and related organizations on a wide variety of complex governance, strategy, and program-related challenges. Daniel’s career spans all aspects of regulatory program oversight including practice-based assessments, quality improvement, national licensure and professional mobility, and practical risked-based solutions informed by evidence.

He recently Co-Chaired the Ministry of Health and Long Term Care’s Working Group which completed the first Ontario performance measurement framework for health professional Colleges.

As the Registrar and CEO of the Royal College of Dental Surgeons of Ontario, Dan is committed to regulatory excellence that is informed by data and evidence, proportional to risk of harm, and accountable and transparent to the public and stakeholders.

We will be having a food drive at this event and are asking if you can voluntarily bring shelf stable items or personal care products (max of 3) to help our neighbors who are in need.

The most urgently needed items: peanut butter, canned fish and meat, beans, lentils, soup, stew, fruit and vegetables, flour, pasta, rice, healthy cereal, mac & cheese, pasta sauce, baby food, and formula, oil.
