Dr. David Psutka is a specialist in oral and maxillofacial surgery. He is a graduate of Dentistry and Oral and Maxillofacial surgery from the University of Toronto. He is founder of Fountain View Oral, Facial and Implant Surgery in Mississauga where he has practiced for 38 years.
Hi is an assistant professor at the University of Toronto, Faculty of Dentistry where he teaches in the graduate Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program.
He is a cofounder and senior surgeon at the Mount Sinai Hospital Centre for Excellence in TMJ Reconstructive Surgery, established in 1995.
He is the co-director of the University of Toronto Fellowship Program in Advanced TMJ and orthognathic Surgery.
He is an attending surgeon at Trillium Health Partners and The Sinai Health System hospitals.
Dr. Psutka has presented over 140 lectures and publications. He has lectured, taught and, demonstrated surgery across North America, Europe and Australia.
He has held numerous portfolios in organized dentistry. He was a member of the ad hoc committee struck by the RCDSO Quality Assurance Committee to update the Guidelines for Implant Treatment.
He received the Ontario Dental Association Service award in 2009.
Dr. Steven Cohen is a Certified Dental Specialist in Root Canal Therapy. He received his D.D.S. from the University of Toronto and was presented "The George Hare Endodontic Study Club" Award. He continued on to Temple University in Philadelphia for the post-graduate Endodontic program, receiving the "Louis Grossman Study Club" Award for his overall performance in Endodontics. Dr. Steven Cohen has a special interest in microendodontic procedures. Currently, Dr. Steven Cohen is an Endodontist, teaching at University of Toronto, Post Graduate Endodontic clinic and he is the on-staff endodontist at the depratment of dentistry, Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre , while also offering Endodontic treatment in his office in Mississauga.
Dr. Steven Cohen is a member of Halton Peel Dental Association, Ontario Society of Endodontics, Canadian Academy of Endodontics, American Association of Endodontists, Alpha Omega Toronto.
Dr. Tom Kertesz is an Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon practicing full scope Oral and Maxillofacial surgery at Fountain View Oral Surgery. After receiving his dental degree at the University of Toronto, he completed a one-year general practice residency at Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Kertesz then obtained his specialty training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the University of Toronto which was completed in 2005. He also received a Master of Science degree from the University of Toronto after his research involving human anatomy at the Faculty of Medicine.
Dr. Kertesz is a fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. He has published research articles, is an active surgical staff member at Trillium Health Partners in Mississauga, along with active memberships in various dental and oral and maxillofacial associations. Dr.Kertesz lectures to residents at Mount Sinai Hospital and also enjoys teaching resuscitation to health care professionals as an Instructor with the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada. Dr. Kertesz has been practicing full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgery full-time at Fountain View Oral Surgery since 2005.
Dr. Michael Yang is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada and a Board Certified Specialist in Prosthodontics. Dr. Yang’s interest in Dentistry began while completing his Honours Bachelors of Science in Microbiology at the University of Toronto. He went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery from the New York University, College of Dentistry. Subsequently, Dr. Yang completed his specialty certification in Prosthodontics and Master of Science degree at the University of Illinois at Chicago, College of Dentistry. His Master’s Thesis involved the verification of dental implant position for Fixed Prostheses in the edentulous patient.
Dr. Yang has extensive training in full mouth rehabilitation, pre-prosthetic surgical techniques, dental implants, aesthetics, digital smile design and computer guided surgery. His focus is on restorations in the aesthetic zone and complex rehabilitations.
Dr. Michael Yang is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, Ontario Dental Association and the Association of Prosthodontists of Canada. Dr. Yang is also an active member of the Halton-Peel Dental association. He maintains private practice at M Prosthodontics in Mississauga, Ontario where he is the owner/co-founder, Burlington Prosthodontics in Burlington, Ontario and in Toronto. Dr. Yang is an Instructor of Prosthodontics at the University of Toronto, Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago and lectures in Canada and internationally.
Dr. Joshua Ananthan was born and raised in Toronto where he practices Endodontics. He graduated dental school from the University of Toronto and then moved to the West coast where he practiced as a general dentist and completed his specialty training in Endodontics at the University of British Columbia.
He is an active member of the dental community including the Canadian Dental Association, the Ontario Dental Association, the Canadian Academy of Endodontics and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada. Dr. Ananthan is passionate about teaching and is involved in continuing education and lecturing for general dentists.
Dr. Ananthan is committed to providing the highest level of care for his patients and saving teeth through the most current techniques and procedures.
